How´d it go? I am posting this from a 2015 12" Macbook, running VanillaOS.
I tried a few times to get it installed, but it continually failed. Looks like the most recent release worked out! There are a few kinks to work out - but I remain optimistic. Biggest annoyance was a number of applications missing, modprobe among them.

Install of the OS went easy, but I was expecting Android apps to work to some degree but I haven't had any success yet with that.
I might try BlendOS next.

I think the OS itself is out of Beta, but use of Android apps is very very beta
