Not to give you yet more things to consider, but I mostly work in weekly files, daily notes for me are longform journal entries usually linked to the weekly bullet journal. You could also probably try monthly if you wanted a longer term view.

The advantage of the weekly for me is that it *is* easy to review, every week when I create the weekly I review the current week in previous years. It's amazing how much interesting stuff I've forgotten turns up, ☺️. Dailys for me just involved too much flipping between files in a week, and monthly was too long for me to review.

I'm extremely forward-looking, so I feel looking back (reviewing) is unhelpful. That's ridiculous, of course, but it's an effort to stop and take stop.

@ellane Wonderful newsletter. I enjoyed @kepano's post on this as well. Thinking about a similar workflow too. Curious if it's better to append the date to the title, or prepend as Steph does. Also, note that his daily note pages are EMPTY. They act as an anchor that the unique notes tie to.
