I'm about to come into possession of a Pixel 6a. I'm finally where I can dump Google's Android for something else. But I am torn between using LineageOS or GrapheneOS. Which way should I go? Please help me decide.

@christopher @sammi I've run both Lineage and GrapheneOS. I like both.

But whenever GrapheneOS is an option (it only supports Pixel devices), I greatly prefer it, for the various additional permissions options.

I feel more comfortable running apps I don't completely trust, on GrapheneOS, since I can deny them permissions more granularly.

Question because I'm a newbie at this. If I load one of these OS, can it also be put back to Stock android later? Can one OS overwrite another easily if I don't like the first path I choose?

The Breezy Weather app is so cool. When it's snowing outside, it's snowing on my phone wallpaper. If it's raining outside, it's raining on my phone wallpaper. If it's sunny outside, it's sunny on my phone wallpaper. If it's a clear night, there are stars and meteors on my phone wallpaper.

I've been using the Nova Launcher on Android for so long, I can't hardly use anything else. I could probably get used to Android stock, but after fiddling with the Samsung Android interface I found that I still love my Nova Launcher setup.

Read Aloud on Android is one of the best apps I've downloaded on a while. This app reads aloud pdfs, ebooks, webpages, and more. On top of that, these guys don't quit at the hands of Google. When Google denied their Android Auto app (probably because it competes with Play Books) they made a work around. My kind of people. Yes, I'll buy the $9.99 license, though it's not required.

Wow. Android supports webdav. However, Samsung thought it was a good idea to remove that ability. Geez, I can't wait to replace this thing with something that runs a real version of Android.
