I just read that. Very fitting for my time of life. For the last few weeks, my son and I have been butting heads about yard work, and taking out the trash. I have to tell him multiple times and recently, my words have not been pleasant.
God connects the dots, I randomly post about honey, you have something meaningful to share. Thanks, brother.

Christine always has great things to share, when she's able. She's got a lot on her plate, not the least of which are physical ailments. Wise lady.

I'm on a keto diet so I've lost most of my sweetness tolerance.
I had an unsweetened milk tea last night with regular tapioca boba last night (which I used to hate because it wasn't sweet enough), and it was absolutely perfect.
Then I was tempted to get a bun, so I got the blandest bun I could find, and it was so sweet it made me feel ill. đ¤Ł

How interesting! I am trying to be better about the sugar I intake. Honey has been a good substitute over packaged sugar.

Try liquid Stevia extract. It can't get as sweet as honey, and has a bad aftertaste if you use too much, but it can replace *some* of the honey you use. Try putting 4-5 drops of liquid Stevia extract in your drink, and half as much honey as usual.
It's plant-based and non-gylcemic.

Also, shady 1980s "medical" studies be darned, saccharin is still a great sugar substitute.

I've actually had that before. It's pretty good.

According to Wikipedia, the studies *did* show that large amounts of Saccharin can cause cancer in rats, but they later discovered that the mechanism by which it was caused simply doesn't work in humans, so it was later deemed totally safe.
