On iambic.social I lamented the wide use of the phrase “poetry corner” for so many sites and pages that people put up to showcase their talents. It sounds bemeaning. In conversation I replied that I had proclaimed myself king of Poetry Empire. That seemed to be a fine way of putting it so I renamed my minor blog just that:
