Here's to trying new things ( and retrying things). I installed #popos but it seems to be buggy on my dell E5430. I've been running #linuxmint for a couple of years. I'm replacing Pop OS! with #Fedora tonight. If it doesn't get along well with my laptop, I'll try #solus After that, I'm going back to Mint if I have to.

@Jon Yoder are the line commands similar to Ubuntu? Or is there a cheat sheet on can revert to? I'm most familiar with those line commands. Which desktop environment are you using?

I second the recommendation for Manjaro. Excellent all-around distro.

I can write up an apt -> pacman cheat sheet for you if you need it.
