Is it messed up if I actually prefer *not* being in Christian-exclusive/focused places online?

Not hating at all, but I so love hanging out with Christians, atheists, LGBTQIA+, and everybody else you could name, and I'm not what you'd call exceptionally socially progressive.

I guess I've been slightly burned by Christian spaces online, but moreso I remember being one of the awful theological gatekeepers online a couple decades back.

That's what I use the Public fediverse for. I guess I kind of view the online world as physical world. In the physical world, I am in a community of non-Christian people, like at work or the grocery store, or the park. But then I also have a community of Christians to hang out with.

I guess I just haven't found a Christian community online that feels real enough to me; but then again, a lot of times, in-person community falls short of feeling real. 😁

I don't really plan to moderate this room to a high degree, but my hope is that a small community is built.

I literally just launched the room, and if you want to come in and stand in the corner to watch, that's cool. If you don't, that's cool too. I do appreciate you sharing here, helps me understand you a bit better.

I'm running hubzilla and I feel like there has been a compatibility issue between our instances.
