and I tested it a month ago seemed to be OK. The issue I was having was that I wasn't using IMAP. I'm trying it out on another email address and this is freaking cool.

one thing I love is that you don't have to require your chat partner to download anything. They can simply receive your messages as an email. ๐คฏ (Need the app for encryption though)

Totally Radical! ๐คฃ I signed up for an email address at www.mail.com a long, long, long, long time ago. They want to charge for IMAP so I just never did it.
Changing email addresses seems so daunting, but I guess it's time.

If you want encryption, both parties need DeltaChat app. If encryption isn't needed, you can use Deltachat app for the instant messaging interface, and the other person simply uses their email app

Methinks POP3 is for people who only access their mail on a single device.
It's not hard to archive all messages from IMAP.

My condolences.
I only knew one guy who managed mail (Sendmail, at that). He retired early. His mental health just tanked. Not kidding.

I'm using the new broadcast list in #
DeltaChat
to send spiritual affirmations to a group. The list is missing a thing or two, like being able to set the subject line, but it works well. I've tinkered with DC as a whole for a little while.
