My mom sends a text message to us sons and daughters about Sunday. We all receive it, but she doesn't get any responses, though we all responded. Then we move over to Telegram to share screenshots of the messages we sent/weren't received. hahaha

@big_diggity never seen a problem with sms, but if she’s sending one message to multiple, that’s MMS, and I don’t know if you could do that in the 1900s

@Ji Fu Looks like the first MMS was sent in 2002, but regardless, it is old. My point really is that notice that sms get lost a lot between iphones and android phones. I've never had a Telegram or Matrix message go missing. I feel like society can do better than sms at this point since Android and Apple don't want to play together nicely.
