Today closes a significant chapter in my life. Since the fall of 2021, my work has required a lot of travel throughout the #midwestUSA . My truck and I spent thousands of miles a week being road warriors. Hotel stays throughout the week was a way of life for me. Today was my last typical roll out as I now am joining the team of desk jockeys.
That old way of life had its perks. Exploring other places. Groovy restaurants and breweries. Hotel points. Unaccountable time. Quiet, reflective drives. Loud blaring playlists.
It also had it's trials. A phase of loneliness. Weight gain. Chaotic schedule. Not always available for the family in urgent or emergency situations.
Overall, I'm looking forward to this next chapter in my life and in my career.

@christopher That doesn't compute in my head...the Christopher I know and love is always on the road 🤯. Can totally understand the mixed feelings but imagine you might find the break to be nice :).
