How am I even still awake?!?! 5:45am, I left the house. Drove in crazy stupid snow and sleet covered roads for 8.5 hours. Worked for 5 hours. Chilled in my hotel for a couple of hours. Met my coworker downstairs for a very strong bourbon drink because the bartender was clueless on making drinks, chatting about cool projects and the atrocities of terrible technicians. Now I'm back in my hotel room with a single beer updating a Mastodon instance...surely I'll crash soon, right?? It's almost midnight.
Good thing all I have to do is drive home tomorrow....and I can leave whenever I want to......hoping that the roads are free from snow and sleet. 🤞
