They do that in our area, too. We live near a wealthy, but not in it. We tend to get 40-50 kids in our neighborhood, but this year only 9.
Our young kids had 3 trunk-or-treats over the weekend, so we just told them to hand out candy, especially since it was so cold. I wonder if the trend to move Halloween to the weekend is getting traction. 🤷‍♂️
