On iambic.social I lamented the wide use of the phrase “poetry corner” for so many sites and pages that people put up to showcase their talents. It sounds bemeaning. In conversation I replied that I had proclaimed myself king of Poetry Empire. That seemed to be a fine way of putting it so I renamed my minor blog just that:

He was a worker who became a friend.
Now he's a friend who does some work for us.
He came this afternoon and did a couple of quick jobs.
He stayed and talked for over an hour.
Should I pay him, or charge him? :)
